As of January 2013, the Continuing Medical Education Department at Palmetto Health Baptist will be integrated with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Palmetto Health Richland Continuing Medical Education Organization. These two outstanding programs will be combined under the umbrella of the “University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Palmetto Health Continuing Medical Education Organization” (USCSOM-PH CME Org)  The USCSOM-PH CME Org will be accredited by the national Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) ™for physicians.
